THIS IS A GREAT CARD-AS GOOD AS ANY FIGHT CARD I CAN REMEMBER IN TERMS OF PURE ACTION!
The fact that Roy Jones is fighting Anthony Hanshaw for $30 on PPV while HBO is haivng its best all around fight card in years is further prood that Roy is officially ******ed.
If you forgoe the triple header for Roy's bout with Hanshaw you should be shot-dont aid Roy's retirement fund-he is no longer a fighter so why is he asking us to pay and watch him fight?
Matthysse vs. Cintron
Unbelievable sluggers matchup, Mattyhsse is a bomber and so is Kermit...the first four rounds of this fight should be SPECIAL...if David Estrada can buzz Kermit I promise you Walter Matthysse will as well. somebody is getting the ****ed knocked out of them in this one!
Gatti vs. Gomez
Probably the most meanigless fight on the card in terms of REAL world title contedner status...neither fighter has the skill set to become a true champ however in terms of action if this fight is not talked about as on of THEE fights of the year I will be shocked! This fight is all action and should go some rounds based on both fighters durability...someone will give in late (10th or 11th) and Im guessing its Gatti, dont necessarily like any of the contender fighters but Alfonso has found himself the perfect name opponenet-INCREDIBE ACTION FIGHT!
Margarito vs. Williams
Talk about overall implications for our sport-can you imagine if the Punisher comes out and dominates Margarito...tell me the wolrd wont be clamoring for Floyd v. Williams and the only one in the world that wont be wanting that fight is little Floyd himself. I expect a coming out party for Paul Williams in this one, a real bonafide superstar...I dont se Paul stopping tony and I think he is going to have to show some real heart down the stretch when Margarito starts to heat up a bit but this will be Pauls coming out party. If you think Margarito was avoided...JUST WAIT!

You did she how Gomez struggled against Feliciano. He looked better in the UK fight he had, but he can't outbox Gatti. This will be Gatti-Gamache all over again mark my words. I said it before Asian Sensation has a better shot at Gatti than Gomez. This is a gift wrapped kayo farewell fight for Gatti to go out with a ****. I will be stunned if he loses this fight. Jessie Feliciano is a tough mother****er-just ask Delvin Rodriguez( a guy a lot of folks were starting to sing th epraises of-including your grandmother buddy)...sure Jesse is limited in boxing skills but if you fight him in a phone booth as Gomez did he becomes one tough hombre.
Gatti is not going to run his way to victory-he is going to mix it up and get hit...at this stage in Gatti's career I dont like his odds when he is getting hit.
Gatti will have the towel thrown in on his behalf in round 11.Comment

meaning those 3 fights won't be happening in the same ring,
i think marg vs williams is a different location.....am i wrong ?
