    Why cant KESSLEY-CALZAGHE happen in AUGUST???

    Neither were in particularly taxing fights, both guys stay in shape year round, and both guys train 2 months or less anyways...

    So why not make the fight sooner rather then later? They've had there time off, its time to get back to what they do for a living

    It's called boxing politics numbnuts. Maybe Warren and Co. couldnt get a venue lined up, blah blah blah. It could be a number of things. Just shut up.

      they had that date picked out before 2007 even started. September has been mentioned for half a year now.

      Calzaghe got hit like 10 times total against manfredo.

      And Kessler was in a bit tougher of a fight but it was very onesided and hes had rest.

      No reason this fight, if its true that the annoucement will be tommorow, couldnt be made for august. Fighters are so just inactive...

          I don't know why later is always better than sooner for these events. You're right, why do they need five months rest after easy wins? Is it really that difficult to find a suitable venue?
