It will be a great scalp for Joe. But the only problem is that Kessler is European and that Critics will say Joe is only beating Europeans and not the Americans. They always find excuses no matter what.

Fighting Taylor now after that horrible performance in his last fight would make people think Joke is just handpicking opponents like he's done his whole career. I think Kessler is the biggest challenge out there for him (I would still make Joke a favorite) and I would give him the most credit just for taking the fight...

I agree, it's mostly after the fact that opinions are likely to differ on this point. In a few years everyone might have forgotten how highly regarded Kessler is right now.

The fight only looks bad in the future if Kessler is thoroughly dominated like Lacy. People seem to forget that Kessler has been the #1 contender to Calzaghe even before the Lacy fight, he has beaten two current world champions in his last 5 fights compared to Joke facing only one current world champion in his entire career, and his recent string of opponents is much better than Calzaghe's...

Even if this gets signed (fingers crossed), there's always that fear of a Calzaghe hand injury in training that could kill the whole thing. So even if it's official, everyone would be wise to act like it's not until fight night.

Calzaghe V Kessler will be a great fight and there cant be any excuses thrown out anyway both are the top 2 SMW there are..... If Joe dominates he dominated the next best SMW if Kessler wins he beat the best.. **** where they fight and where there from the fact remains there the 2 best in that division and the winner should fight the winner of Taylor v Pavlik!

Im just shocked you are still here. There was a rumour that you have been banned. Joe beating JT would be ok because if im right noone has beaten him. BH couldnt, Winky etc couldnt as well.
I think Joe should beat the Americans and Kessler can as well. But i still would prefer JT because he is still the name.

Yep, i dont agree with much of what Sin says when i can be bothered to read his posts at all. But it may be a little harsh to ban him. He perhaps needs a talking to or warning though sometimes when he steps out of line.
Whatever he is, he is a character with his avatar ha ha.
