This is as almost idiotic as elitesoldier's changing of sides after Pavlik beat Miranda.

miranda lost because he was forced out of his game plan by pavlik. kelly came in there ready to rumble and execute what he thought needed to be done to beat miranda, and he did exactly that.

as far as race/skin color.anything else, it doesn't matter when it's all about will and skill inside the ring, pavlik could've been green and he would've done the same thing to miranda.

and with Abraham i think the fight should've been stopped, but at the same token, mirnada should've known how to close the show. it's obvious anyone who can take a punch and has decent ring skills will give miranda a hard time, that and not standing in front of him if you are lacking a chin, but color having anything to do with it, maybe, but not in this case. maybe back in the day you could say that when fighters,especially white fighters weren't used to fighting men of color, but other than that, the thought of miranda being scared or afraid of white guys inside the ring is pure lame and uneducated.
