Palle: "Taylor, A Bum Compared To Kessler"

The words are flying from Mogens Palle, promoter of WBA/WBC super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler. He is furious that Frank Warren, promoter of WBO counterpart Joe Calzaghe, is presenting a much higher financial offer to middleweight Jermain Taylor for a potential bout.

I read this, this morning, i didnt even bother posting it up cos it would be yet another Kessler-JC thread.

Palle did call Taylor a bum according to the story and said Kessler was 10 times better.

Now im beginning to think Palle is all hot air.

This confirms it. Palle is an absolute idiot.

OF COURSE he is offering more to Taylor. He is a top P4P AMERICAN fighter.

Kessler doesnt get the same terms in England as Calzaghe gets in Denmark because he IS NOT THE BIGGER FIGHTER.

Palle is an idiot, why would he say such a thing considering that many American are starting to like Kessler, this guy is not helping Kessler, I think it's time for Kessler to leave his ass and come sign with an American promoter so he can become a world famous boxer with all the tools he has.

Seriously I think kessler should leave his ass, this will be the smartest move for Kessler.

No wonder the JC/Kessler fight is taking forever to happen both their promoters seem to be delusional and all about the money instead of making competitive and exciting fights for the fans.

I think Kessler should just pay Palle like the way PBF did with Arum and go sign with Goosen or DiBella. These 2 are pretty decent promoters, guys like King, Arum and Oscar are no good in my opinion.

Trust me a guy like Kessler can become huge in America and the world, Kessler is young and in his prime he has a great future front of him, he shouldn't let Palle ruin his career. Kessler will be a tough fight for anyone from 160-175, I think he has a great chance beating anyone from 160-175.

I'm not blaming Palle for the Calzaghe fight because it is impossible to get to Calzaghe and Warren, those 2 belong together and every great boxer should not ever deal with them, because it's just a waste of time.

i agree with Palle........................ at least to a certain extent, calling Taylor a bum is a bit extreme, but not too far off, especially after taylors last few fights. taylor hasn't looked good or even decent in recent fights.

and as of right now between kessler and taylor the tougher fight would be kessler, i think at least. kessler has more momentum going into a fight like this and he isn't having any distractions in his camp, he gets along with who is training him and he listens to his corner.

just think in a fight with calzaghe, taylor sint going to listen to any advise his corner is giving him. taylor would be a dead man walking. calzaghe's experience is far greater than taylors and he would know how to use it too. kessler on the other hand is in the same boat as taylor when it comes to experience, he doesn't have the same experience as Joe, but he does have a batter discipline (ithink) and works better with his corner, two things that are going to help fill in the gap of not having the same experience.

also Calzaghe knows how to fight on the inside, taylor doesn't, taylor needs range to fight and throw punches, something Calzaghe isnt going to give him. calzaghe swarms with punches and throws a lot something taylor hasn't seen and couldn't keep up with, especially after his last fight with spinks who was another southpaw. if he had a hard time throwing against a southpaw, Calzaghe is going to have a field day.

as for kessler, i think he has the right temperament and focus to be effective against Calzaghe. i think that his movement would be a big factor in making it a tough fight for Calzaghe, and i think his punch output could hang with Joes. style wise i think kessler is more of a problem for Calzaghe than Taylor. Taylor has next to zero ring generalship, Kessler knows how to use the whole ring very well.

taylor needs to go back to the drawing boards before he steps into the ring with Calzaghe, i think Kessler is more prepared for that fight than Taylor is,
