Popular opinion is heavily split as to who won the fight. It's not as if 75% of fans who saw it thought Sweet Pea won, although most expected Oscar to do better than he did.

I see a good fight with Sweet Pea winning by UD or perhaps a KO.

I would bet the house there would NOT be a KO in this fight. Mayweather was the harder hitter but Whitaker's defense was too good for him to land solid. The "pea" didn't hit hard enough to faze Mayweather.

They say that people who walk in the middle of the road get hit by cars in both directions. I'm not a fence sitter, but on this fight, I could see it as a draw.

i see floyd winning this one in a close fight. they both were very hard to hit. sweet pea was a southpaw, so that would play a huge factor in the fight imo, but floyd counterpunched better than whitaker. it would be a classic fight, but floyd was quicker than whitaker. and, blocked better imo. but, that damn sweet pea was very hard to hit.
