Arthur Abraham has the heart of a lion. He showed amazing courage by fighting in terrible pain with a broken jaw for eight rounds and still winning the fight. Miranda was hitting him with low blows and head butts, but Abraham never retaliated with any dirty tactics.

I wish him well, but I'll be rooting for my fellow Canadian Demers on Saturday.

he would've lost even without the point deductions.

as a guy who doesent like either fighter i can honestly say that the abraham/miranda fight was a total travesty

two of the point deductions were dodgy, but miranda fought like a dirty bastard and he got what he deserved

i think a better way of putting it would be that nobody got what they deserved that night... fans and fighters alike...

when i watched it was baffled and i still am to this day, made me feel like i didnt know much about the rules of boxing

true, it didn't really tel me anything about who was the better fighter, unfortunately a re-match in the near future looks unlikely after saturday

Miranda is a good fighter but when things don't go his way he'll use dirty tactics. Even against Pavlik he tried, I am surprised he didn;t do more though. So he might be improving in this area of his fight game. I have no idea how he didn;t get disqualified by the referee in Germany.

as i said before i have my reservations about abraham beating demers, ive seen them both and i think that demers matches up very well to oupoint abraham if arthur does not come out hungry and win all the early rounds.

imagine then taylor calling out demers for a unification instead of fighting pavlik
