*******..................taylor should've been hit with the stool for not listening to his HALL OF FAME TRAINER!
you guys would be having nightmares if it were Teddy Atlas in taylors corner, he probably would have ***** slapped taylor for not listening, at the very least!
and if taylor couldn't handle the way steward was yelling at him in the corner, imploring him to actually throw punches, press the action, and make a fight out of it, then why the hell is taylor in the fight biz?!?!
taylor has a hall of fame trainer who specializes in tall, rangy fighters, with good jabs, who fight on the outside. everything taylor has, manny specializes in making better and manny stewards track record speaks for itself, steward can't fight the fight for him, only get him prepared for the fight.
it's obvious that taylor isnt feeling manny, like i said before in another post, i think that their relationship is coming to a close as far as manny being his trainer, mainly due to the way taylor was looking in the corner and how he was responding to steward, basically ignoring him................
all in all, manny is a good trainer and taylor should've executed the game plan that steward set out for him regardless of what he thinks or feels about steward (isnt taylor still a professional?), he is his trainer, that is why he hired the guy.
personally i didn't like the fact that taylor dumped his old trainer the way he did, because i thought like someone else said, if it aint broke don't fix it. i think burns and taylor had a real realationship and they worked extremely well together, manny personally i think was forced onto taylor but taylor said that he sought out manny, so whatever there, but i think taylor would be best served going back with burns, at least then he was KOing the smaller guys........
