    what happened to 154?

At the beginning of this decade this was a great division, with Tito, Oscar, Vargas, Winky, Quartey, Shane, etc. Now, all its good fighters are gone. Many are jumping to 160 (Ouma, Spinks, Quartey, Karmazin), some dropping down to 147 (Shane). You also have the #1 P4P fighter in the world, who doesn't even belong in there to begin with, saying he's going to retire, and the most popular fighter in the world who SHOULD retire. Really though, is Travis Simms the only decent 154 pounder out there? Boxrec says he's going to fight Daniel Santos (another decent 154 pounder who jumped to 160) in September - will Santos come down or will Simms join those who have left 154, and does this make 154 the weakest division in boxing?

They still have Forrest but he probally doesnt have much left either. Dont worry though, fighters come & go in divisions all the time. Look at 147. It probally wont be long before Margarito, Williams, Berto, Cotto, and others are at 154. Spinks will definatly be back there also
