vitali sanders was exciting but techinically very poor.

certainly not the fight of the year in my book. Its hard for me to say as we get so few televised over here, we didnt see Chico vs Freitas and we didnt see Tito agianst Mayorga, I mean eff me, you have to know NOTHING about boxing to miss those off your schedule right, two gaurenteed barnstormers. But thats BBC / Sky for ya.
Die to this its hard for me to quantify what is the best fight, the best Ive SEEN this year. for all rounds excitement, techinical ability and allround quality was Marquez vs Pacman.

Had anyone metioned Juan Diaz over Lavka Sim yet? Probably not quite fight of the year quality but still a great match. With all the talk about Cotto and Lacy lately people seem to be forgetting that Diaz put on a good show as well against a tough competitor.

Overall, with the Cintron fight on the same card, that might be the best all-around event I've seen this year. The undercards on Hopkins-DLH were terrible and Judah made quick work of Martrell on the Trinidad-Mayorga card.

I still think Trinidad-Mayorga is my fight of the year (with Pacquiano-JMM a close second).

erm are you serious? it was a slugfest, not techinical in the slightest, Vitali was reticent and lumbering and just waited for Sanders to blow out. Sanders looked like he had trained on a golf course and was a stone to 18 pounds over weight. It was quite exciting though.

without being rude, if thats your idea of high technical ability sorry but you should be watching sumo.

              right..

in the way they had prepared for each other, the feigning games..

it was impressive, including sanders chin, and he still finished his combinations..

it was the thriller of ages..

a boxer and ferrocious slugger in a cage.

you must have found it entertaining?
