Good defense?? Hmmm, im not convinced, he has the abilty to slip punches then throw back combinations, so yes in a way he has good defense, but there is question mark with me concerning his actual blocking and how low he holds his hands.
Reflexes go fast, i dont think its wise to rely on them, its better to be good a blocking as opposed to slipping, relying on reflex actions are too unreliable.
Kessler seems very textbook, compact, jab, straight right, thats what i mean, Textbook boxer,
Whereas Calzaghe (cos he is trained by his dad imo) is unorthodox,
