Worst fight of the year so far.

Nah, Juarez vs Hernandez was the worst fight this year by far. It was so bad that they had Mayweather Sr. talk for 2 rounds.

taylor/spinks was the worst.

i dont think oscar/floyd should be on that list. that was a pretty decent fight. not a great fight but better than expected.

yeah, i remember that. absolutely horrible. not sure that jt vs cs was more exciting though.

that spinks/taylor fight reminded me of williamson/byrd. remember that fight. williamson really earned his nickname "touch of sleep" that night.

if there was one thing wrong with boxing other than don king and crooked promoters, it is fighters who are scared to fight eachother. boxers who fight on showtime, hbo, and ppv venues, especially somewhat known names and champions, are going to be making a good sum of cash. they are getting paid to fight, not for a light sparring session or a posing contest. they are robbing us, as viewers and fans, of entertainment we are paying for - either by purchasing a ppv, buying tickets to the event, or paying the extra fee for showtime or hbo.

it is disrespectful to fans(US!) for boxers to go and put out minimum effort performances. that is exactly what fights like taylor/spinks or byrd/williamson are.

Out of that list its Spinks v Taylor because I didnt see the Raheem fight.
Floyd v Oscar shouldnt be up there at all, you just hate Floyd.
The Juarez fight on that undercard was absoluty terrible.
