if u think judahs gonna win u're a ****ing idiot... first off, every fighter says he's having the best camp of his life, so im not worried about that... whitaker fights nothing like cotto... whitaker was a pitty pat puncher, he couldn't punch... cotto cuts the ring off better than anyone in the sport, he's more mechanically sound than anyone in boxing, he punches harder than anyone judah has faced... miguel cotto is better than judah, get over ur **** *******s, u'll all be eating ur words june 9th

Mechanically sound? Cotto is generally methodical and robotic. Just like his personality. He fights the way he acts, which in all honesty, if he wasnt a puerto rican love child, wouldnt have too many fans, not because he isnt a good fighter, hes just ****ing boring outside the ring and never answers any question with any vigilance. I dont even bother listening to his interviews or reading about what he has to say because hes so ****ing boring. And his last couple fights have also bored the **** out of me, this is the first cotto fight i have been excited about because hes fighting a guy who can actually move and punch. As opposed to

Lot's of folks have been saying Cotto needs to "step-it-up" and fight an A-fighter. Zab Judha is the former UNDISPUTED WW Champ. So when Cotto tags your boy...ay, no excuses! Listen I know Zab will get an early lead, perhaps win rounds 1-5. But if Miguel Cotto IS NOT on his back by the 6th round...it's nighty nite for Zab Judha! Cotto TKO 9th.

There are some instances where being as humble as he is can hurt you, because he has NO personality at all, you dont see him mad, you dont see him happy, you dont see him doing anything or acting any certain way. Every answer to every question is "ill let my management decide, ill let my team decide" etc. Thankfully for Cotto, he has great power and comes to fight, which is a plus. Cotto reminds me alot of one of my favorite fighters, Rocky Juarez, he is basically the same way in terms of personality. Expresionless. Its not his lack of **** talk that turns me off, its his lack of..well..ANYTHING. In the ring most of his fights just dont excite me, but i think alot of that has to do with him never being in the ring with anyone who is on the same level as him for the most part. The quintana fight i though was going to be better, but he put him out real easily and i had to change my opinion on Quintana, but the Judah fight is career defining definately.

Being mechnically sound in any case means your methodical to some degree, if you dont like that comment, then i cant help you.

my view on your original "pr love child" comment was that, if he were pinoy or whatever, he'd have that same following, the guy's all talent, will, balls and class. what section of people wouldn't get behind this dude?

you want mad? how about when corley hit him after the bell and cotto hit the ref w/ his bicep while trying to land a hook on corley way after the bell, cotto has a streak. you want happy, how about the way he lay on his back after the war with torres in which he dug deep and put it all out there and stopped the new 140lb champ? or when he stopped pinto? he's humble, i feel like you're simply just not seeing this.

his customary line that i bolded above does get tired BUT i feel is good for the guy, keeps him focused and thats, i think, how he should stay. eventually, obviously - he'll move away from that. the guy has said, unbelievably enough, names of fighters he'd like to fight in a recent interview.
