Youngstown's OTHER former Middleweight Champ Boom Boom Mancini in today's Youngstown Vindicator.

Tell Pavlik to take his black ass up to Heavyweight. Revive the division, you know? He's skinny, he could make it....

He would be ******ed not to. I like Pavlik but after the fight he was smart enough to know Taylor wouldn't face him by things he said. He is too big a risk with too little a reward. Unless HBO backs him like Miranda then Taylor won't make the dough he should facing him. I think Pavlik would beat Taylor and with the Calzaghe money possible, Taylor's people aren't dumb enough to make this fight without a huge Public demand for it.

Do I come down to the south and question the weight divisions of your heros? Do I slap the boxrec print-out's from YOUR hand?

He's the one from Youngstown, not you. If he says that Boom Boom was a Middleweight, then goddammit, he's a ****ing Middlewight.

TAYLOR-PAVLIK should be in the GARDEN.

I would DIE to go to that fight. It would be awsome.

MANCINI talks a lot though, when he gets on a role he exagerates more and more. Like he first said PAVLIK COULD BE BOXINGS NEXT SUPERSTAR.

which i could definetly see happening.

BUt then he got carried away and said he would become the most FAMOUS BOXER TO EVER STEP INTO A RING. that made me laugh

Boom Boom is still the man though

I felt that the second is a definite candidate for round of the year.

If the public demands it I think Taylor will take this fight, just like he did with Winky.
