Gatti was a good boxer early in his career.

Gatti gets initially hurt or dropped fairly easily. He;s been hurt or dropped by plenty of guys who aren't big punchers. He's just nearly impossible to put away because of his heart.

But a sustained beating from a big puncher like Corrales is another story.

He showed pretty decent boxing skills against Patterson.

But Corrales is a bigger guy than Patterson, and obviously a bigger puncher and different type of fighter.

Gatti was used to being bigger than his opponents at 130 and 135, and even at 140, but Corrales was pretty big for those weight classes as well.

i love gatti to death but i gotta admit, this is one of many fantasy fights that he loses.

gatti was big for SFW, LW, and jr welter, but corrales was so much bigger than gatti and had a much much bigger punch.

gatti would probly stick around until at least the 8th, by then chico would be teeing off on thunder and some1 would stop the exciting brawl.

                chico by mid-late round TKO.

Ah, this fight would be a BLOODFEST! It would be both guys tearing into each other, but Corrales pulling out the tko win, mid to late rounds. His height, defense and better boxing ability would have won out over Gatti.

Chico by KO....I simply don't think Gatti could handle his power.
