miranda is a one trick poney, always has been, always will be
I felt like that for a second when I saw him talk about his weight, but I really don't think thats what he was doing. He gave Pavlik his props and didn't take anything away from him. I had been surprised at how weak he looked right from the start of the fight and the weight issue explains that, but he didn't really make it an excuse.

That was a classy statement and he picked up at least one fan here with it. I hope he gets another shot soon.

Miranda would be one dim guy to stay at 160. He clearly needs to be at 168. At that weight, he can have more energy and avoid fatigue issues. The move up for him could help him much like Cotto's move helped him.

exactly my thoughts. maybe he can just have one more fight at 160 with abraham and then move up.

            will he be back? probly.

            better than ever? no.

pavlik took a part of miranda with him in that fight. i seriously doubt miranda will ever be the same or be better. thats the kinda beating that ruins careers.
