Wholeheartedly agreed.

Spinks did it, imagine what Floyd would do. Instead of landing 3-4 punches that mattered for the whole fight aginst Spinks, Taylor would be lucky to land one single punch of significance against Mayweather.

I agree as well. And hecould take one of Taylor's shots. Cory took a few clean shots and never went down. Floyd would outbox him horribly.

That would be a horribly boring fight! I don't think Taylor would throw 1 punch at Floyd if he was afraid to throw at Spinks!

The only way Mayweather would win is if he could make Taylor do what he made so many other bigger opponents do.
Forget to punch and just follow him around the ring, trying to corner him to land something big.

The first few rounds would tell the story imo
If he could prevent Taylor from having the upperhand in the first three rounds, I think Taylor will resort to just following him around looking to land something big.

The fact that Mayweather would have trouble tying Taylor up when neccessary is his biggest disadvantage.
He could barely tie De La Hoya up.
