He basiclly called Pavlik a **** fighter and made an ass out of himself at the press conference saying how he would knock out Taylor and all his nuthugging fanboys claimed he was the next great middleweight and would KO anyone in the division and he got exposed for what he is.

Corrales did that too. They do it to waste time because they need to gasp for some air. Though I don't remember Corrales hitting people in the **** when he was tired. I think Miranda does it on purpose since he did it in the pavlik fight and abrahams fight.

I was picking Miranda due to his sheer power- but I told people before the fight started that I could definetly see Pavlik winning because he was the better boxer and had some serious pop in his punches, too. What Miranda showed in the Pavlik fight is this:

1.) A good chin.
Yeah, he took a ton of solid shots without going down - Pavlik is just too strong for him to do it all night with. He needed more defense.

2.) Heart
He got up from a few solid knockdowns that other fighters would have stayed down for the count over.

3.) One dimensionality
Back him up and Miranda is lost. Has no idea what to do and his defense is poor enough that if you get him on the ropes you can nail him with some serious shots. Edison showed that despite his power, chin and heart if you exploit this weakness of his he is powerless to stop you.
