Pavlik was clearly the better fighter last night..Miranda made several huge mistakes including:

        1. He punched himself out

        2. He didn't adjust to Pavliks 'coming forward style'

        3. The fight was too fast paced for him

because he is a limited fighter and he was unfocused on his task at hand which was pavlik.

miranda can bounce back, all he has to do is get with a good trainer and learn some of the basics and stick with them, he needs better defense, and needs to learn to adapt inside the ring, that and he needs to learn how to tie up too............

if he doesn't learn from this fight, miranda is a wash......................club fighter extraordinarie if you will.............

              Pavlik > Miranda

              Miranda is very good:
              -strong chin
              -hard, accurate puncher
              -very aggressive.
              -lots of heart and determination

But he lost because Kelly Pavlik is even better:
              -good chin
-even harder and more accurate puncher
              -persistantly aggressive
              -better boxing skills
              -more disciplined fighter
              -lots of heart and determination

It may have been a bit of all of them but the main thing is that Pavlik is a better boxer, a harder puncher and had a better gameplan. Miranda lost to the better man on the night. Could Edison ebat Pavlik on another night? Probably, but he has a hell of a lot to work on first and if he doesn't fix his flaws then he's never going to best Pavlik.

It is definitely all four with the last one being most important. He was weight drained. He obviously didn't train hard enough. He clearly was too focused on Taylor. Pavlik was just better than him.

miranda seemed to get the better of pavlik when he didnt back up, i think a rematch at 160-168 would be different if miranda would not back up, i had him winning round 2 and 5 and the start of 6 untill he got flattened
