Do you think the ref should have stopped the fight earlier for the safety of Miranda? Kelly Pavlik seems like a good dude, I think he really wanted them to stop it earlier because he didn't want to accidently kill Miranda in the ring. He seems like a good dude who just does what he has to win, but doesn't ever want to serious hurt someone(kill) someone in the ring. I know the majority of boxers don't want to kill people in the ring, but do you think that Pavlik held back a bit or do you think he went all 100 percent when he realized he had the fight in the bag? I think he held back in the final round, just koing pavlik enough for them to stop it. But not to land anything that could put another boxers life at jeopardy... Whats your thoughts?

i think it was a good stoppage. the ref gave miranda every chance to defend himself and to try and land some good punches to get back in the game. if the fight should have been stopped earlier, it should only have been a few seconds before the actual stoppage.

I think ideally it should have been stopped after the second knockdown, but it wasn't a serious mistake to keep it going and stop it when he did.

I would have preferred if he stopped it on the 2nd knockdown. He definitely let the stoppage go on a few punches too long when Miranda was on the ropes in the 7th.

OK you've watched a lot of fights in the past six weeks, but you need to be quiet more, watch and listen more. You make an ass of yourself constantly.
