the fight ******, and was about as exciting as the zahir raheem fight on espn friday night, SNOOZER!!!!!!!!!!

but i thought that corey did better than expected and he made taylor look like ****. corey fought his game and got taylor not fighting his, spinks made taylor pretty much keep his guns in his holdster and spinks picked at taylor like a misquito, but like the misquito corey did what he wanted to do, taylor on the other hand looked like he has taken some serious steps backwards and is regressing skill wise.

i don't think either man did enough to win, a draw wouldn't have been wrong.

back to what i said about a 100 times now, TAYLOR IS STILL A VERY GREEN FIGHTER, HE DOESN'T HAVE GREAT EXPERIENCE, THAT IS WHY CALZAGHE WANTS TO TAKE ON TAYLOR BECAUSE HE KNOW S THAT HE IS AN EASY TARGET!

had that been Calzaghe in there last night against Taylor it would've been a bigger as whooping than the one Lacy got from Calzaghe. Taylor looked confused against the southpaw, Calzaghe would stomp his ass, sad to say, but it's obvious and been obvious that is why Calzaghe and his team want to take on taylor, they know he's green and still hype..............

taylor needs to go back to the drawing boards or something, that or maybe get a loss to refuel his desire or something because he seems to be getting worse each fight............

Seriously welter, dont smoke weed before you try and make an intellegent post.
Scuse me? Taylor basically won a decision over Hopkins doing what Spinks did last night (sans moving away). He missed any and every significant punch he threw and won because he "outworked" Bernard. Spinks pretty much did the same thing...but he was a smaller man and is a mover. Taylor threw about 20 punches a round last night and I see a bunch of people saying, "oh well his shots were so much more effective and blah blah" when that was the exact same case in that first Hopkins fight

Jermain Taylor pretty much sucks at this point. He FINALLY looked good in the Wright fight, throwing straight power shots, busting through Wright's guard, fighting with a purpose, yadda yadda.....and now we get two straight bull**** fights against smaller men who were ripe for the picking.

When is this guy going to win a fight convincingly? Fight fans everywhere have been waiting for this to happen and it's growing tiresome waiting for it. Jermain is a polite, personable, good looking kid with talent. At this point he just needs to take someone's head off or needs to have his head taken off. I guess fighting Pavlik or Calzaghe would give us one of those results.

I gave Ouma maybe 3 rounds in that fight. Still though, with all of those power shots Taylor landed on Ouma, he should have had him out of there. We all know Ouma is a tough customer...Taylor should have eaten him up though. It's almost like Jermain falls asleep throughout his fights.

I had it 117-111, same reason, I expected taylor to destroy him within 6, instead taylor looked like a fool, trying to outbox a superior boxer. Corey spinks should be the new middleweight champion, if not cause of what he did, then because of what Jermaine didnt do. Pathetic

so you gave Taylor 5 more rounds the second time you watched it???

how is that possible that you could change that much after seeing it a 2nd time? I need an answer real bad on this one. If you fell asleep, why post a scorecard? If you left the room, why post a scorecard? I'm at a loss for words at this

well, first of all after the first 2 rounds of the fight, i was toatally screaming mad at taylor to fight such a pathetic fight so i started giving all close rounds to spinks....

2nd, as i live in mexico and they didnt televise it, i had to catch a fair quality stream....so i really saw spinks landing more than when i downloaded the dvd version....

the first tme i had tthis scorecard

                    s jt

                    4 10 9
                    5 9 10
                    6 9 10
                    7 10 9
                    8 10 9
                    9 10 9
                    10 10 9

                    12 10 9

BUT AFTER REWATCHING IT I HAD :
