    The next middle weight champ

Kelly pavlik. If the Ghost fights like he did last night he'll kill that bum taylor who doesnt have enough heart to cope with the Ghost what do you think.

I think some people are getting carried away with Pavlik, especially in contrast to Taylor's uninspired performance yesterday. Lets' not forget this guy beat Hopkins twice and Ouma, he has skills to keep fighters at bay. Pavlik landed his big shots because Pantera stood in the pocket and traded, he found out his punch resistance is not up to much against a big hitter. I think Taylor would only get KO'd by a much bigger opponent with pace, against Pavlik he'd stay on the outside on his way to a decision. Pavlik looked like he could stop a horse with those combos but he does lack speed. Hence no KO over Taylor.

Here is the thing people continue to forget. Pavlik's performance last night is the same type of performance he has had in his 30 other wins. He is a smart boxer and smart boxer's know what to expect. They can read the fighter and know when to put it to him.

Even if Taylor would've destroyed Spinks last night; I still would have Kelly beating him. He is smart and is that good.

I have no doubts after watching last night's two fights whether Pavlik is able to defeat Taylor. I think Miranda would defeat Taylor too. A slightly younger Hopkins (age 35-38) would have had no difficulty with Jermain either.
