I can't understand Taylor saying that Spinks ran all night and that he couldn't fight....

I've lost respect for Taylor and his camp quite considerably after this..........

As if Jermain Taylor and his camp did NOT know that Spinks was going to run....since when has Spinks fought otherwise..

I blame Taylor and his camp for such a boring fight, but thank god we got to see a classic bout in Miranda - Pavlik.

I went in liking TAYLOR a bit, and i can honestly say i lost my appetite

He even OPENLY said ill take the fight with the most money, who cares about my legacy who cares about my title, if it makes money i want it. A champ may think that, but a champ doesnt say that.

But PAVLIK made a fan out of me. to bad the crowd was COMPLETELY out of the fight

I want Pavlik to skip Taylor and go for Calzaghe. After seeing what Taylor does against a volume puncher, I dont want to see him fight Calzaghe.

Calzaghe Pavlik, on the other hand, could be a war.

Again, I completely disagree with the money part. People are trying to take what he said out of context. Merchant was trying to paint him into a corner where he would just say yes to that fight but I think Taylor was trying to say that I might fight him but I also might for Calzaghe or Winky. Whats wrong with that? As long as he doesnt fight a bum. He doesnt have to fight Pavlik over those other 2 guys. He's only going to get big money against those 3 so thats what he meant

Spinks was circling for 11 rounds, I only saw him running in the 12th round. I thought Cory should have got the nod, he outboxed Taylor.
I think the reason the fight was a stinker is that Taylor fights when he is going backward, he was going backward against ouma, but he was throwing punches while doing so. It was basically a slick boxer against counter puncher.
