Double standards?? Lets see both Taylor and Mayweather landed more punches.

If you had Spinks winning more then 4 rounds then you officially yourself! Oh I forgot you had Spinks winning 10 rounds and had Oscar winning 8 rounds, nice double standards, don't you think.

Taylor won the fight straight up.... but i'm really angry with him... like Manny said "why arn't you letting the hands go... he can't hurt you let the hands go!!" Taylor should've jumped on him and get him in a corner or something and throw hooks... Spinks can't hurt him if his life depended on it.

I'm extremely dissapointed with Taylor and i hope next time he listens to his corner and FIGHT

I had the fight 96-94 because I just stopped caring.
I can't score a fight when one fighter is punching gloves, and the other is punching air. Taylor looked strong, and Spinks looked fast... So since Taylor gave the impression that he is strong then the judges give him the fight.

I have to give props to Taylor... He is still doing the right things to convince judges, win fights, and make money.

yeah man, but i got so pissed when he started to be ****ing happy with hthat bull**** performance.....ill have to wait ansd see the hbo commentary tomorrow....but **** it, as i saw it, cory only lost rounds 6 and 7 i think...

ima also a miranda fan, and he got beat by a better man, honestlyafter 5 seconds into the fight, my bro and i were like.....miranda is getting KTFO....

but miranda showed heart and guts he stood up with a messed up face... and tried to keep fighting...but taylor goes to a ****ing corner when everyone was congratulating spinks and pissed at him, i mean you could see everyones faces, everyone from taylors camp was congratulating spinks, spinks camp was happy as hell and jt goes to the ****ing corner and is happy with his bull**** performance......thats just wrong...

I dont think it was a robbery, but I wouldnt have said it was a robbery if cory got the decision either. I was appauled by how negative the commentary on the fight was though. Cory fought much more agressivly than he normaly does. If Corys name was Floyd Mayweather, and he fought that exact same fight against Taylor, it would have undoubtedly been a blowout victory for Mayweather. Its just how the fight game works. Spinks has a bad reputation as a boring fighter, so agression on his part is overlooked.

I watch the fight with my girlfriend, and she asked me why Taylor was "fighting like a *****".

I personaly think they need to add another posibility for the outcome of a fight, and that is a double loss. Both fighters should get a loss on their record, and Taylor should give his title up to Pavlik. The fight was abismal, but it wasnt as bad as I was expecting wich is saying alot.

I was expecting spinks to hold alot more, and I was expecting to Taylor to actualy jab.

Either way, it would have been better for boxing if Cory got the title, so sombody can take it from him in short order. Taylor is just sitting on the title and fighting bad opposition.

I have a bad taste in my mouth after that fight. It really should have been the undercard and not the main event. Pavlik vs Miranda on the other hand. Im gonna go watch it again..
