I think Jermain has really deteriorated as a fighter since he let Pat Burns go?
I mean he looked absolutely atrocious against Winky, Ouma and Spinks.
Emmanual... as good as a trainer he is, he doesn't have that calming presence that Pat does and that's what Jermain needs the most. Manny is an anxious guy and you can see it every time he's in the ring with his fighters. His whole body language is like a guy who is unsure of his fighters. Taylor used to be a menacing stalker with a big one two. Now he's just an insecure boxer. In the end, I keep asking myself why would you let Pat go after two consecutive wins over Bernard?

That's what I am saying , he tunes out Manny out, he was listening to Pat, for the most part at least. It's crazy I've never seen a boxer deteriorate so much skills-wise.

Yes, Taylor is a better fighter under Pat Burns, the only think Manny Steward thought Taylor is how to clinch and hold in a fight, which Taylor under Pat Burns never did.

I know Manny was giving good advice and got animated in that last round, but Taylor didn't respond. Plus there was two people talking in Taylor's corner all the time it seemed like confusion. Steward is one of the best, but Taylor doesn't respond and maybe he should make a change because it seems he still hasn't improved a whole lot. I know he is still undefeated, but tonight against Spinks he should have been dominant.
