Because if he struggles with Spinks he for sure isn't going to do any better against Joe.

What about the first Mosley fight? I thought that was one of the better performances by a fighter in recent years.

Manny should be fired, he charges Taylor more money then Pat Burns and he does a ****ty job.
To say that Steward does a ****ty job is ****in' delusional. Last night he proved to me why he's a known as a legendary trainer, he kept on telling Taylor exactly what he had to do, Taylor would seem like he was listening, but would just go out & headhunt, picking his shots & trying to outbox an obviously superior boxer. Gunstar isn't as ignorant as alot of guy on here, but when it comes to Taylor, he can do no wrong, take him of that pedestal & see him for what he is.

          Nice try n00b!
Ha, I'm old enough to be your Daddy and on this forum I am your Daddy. So stop being delusional SON! Taytlors time is done. he needs to man up and fight someone. The Hopkins fight only carries so far.

Any person that has watched Taylor for a long time can see he was a better boxer under Pat Burns, Manny Steward is an overrated piece of ****, this has nothing to do with Taylor, I've called Manny **** long before he started training Taylor.

If Taylor listened to Manny Steward then he would've missed all of his punches like a fool, what Many should've told him is go to the body and use your jab.

BTW at least he has beaten a guy like Hopkins which is more then I can say about your man.

If Taylor would have listened to Steward, cut off the ring and unload on him, even in bursts he would have won the fight much more convincingly, the jab wasn't landing. Were you entertained by what you saw from Taylor last night? He's a solid fighter, but has far too many flaws to be Champ, a skilled boxer would beat him, as long as he doesn't keep getting gift decisions.

In my honest opinion, he's lost twice, once to Hopkins & once to Wright, but I gave him the benefit of the close decisions, but if that's how he's gonna win every fight then I'm just not interested.

He has beaten 2 of the most skilled boxers in the world and no the fight was nothing special, but Taylor clearly won the fight.

just read the edit to my original post & you'll know how I feel about that. & If you think he won clearly you must have been watching a different fight.

The only questionable win is the Wright fight, I don't want to hear about the Hopkins fights, Hopkins won only 3 rounds in the first fight then he said he will KO Taylor in the rematch and hd didn't do **** to win the rematch, all he did is won 2 more rounds.

The Wright fight could've gone to either men, but the draw was fair, Wright turned down Taylor twice for the rematch.
