Pavlik had the perfect plan against Miranda. He wasn't scared and went after Miranda and put him on his back heels and forced him to fight backing up. With him on his heels his punches didn't have that same kind of pop that he has had in recent fights.

I give Pavlik a lot of credit for what he did going in the danger zone most of the fight and coming out victorious. It was an exciting fight and Miranda gave it his all, but Pavlik basically dominated the fight from round 1. He deserves a shot at JT.

I liked them both before the fight and wasnt sold on Pavliks chin yet cuz he gets hit alot and is a slow starter. He fought the total opposite of a slow start tonight. Showed hes got a chin too. I dont know about any weight issues and I was picking Miranda, but Pavlik was catching him from the git. Good shine for Pavlik. I would love to see him meet Calzaghe...please.

As a fan of Pavlik, this was a great fight for him. He showed he had a good chin, which some people questioned. Also, some people mistakenly think he is slow but he is some technically sound on his power punches he doesn’t need blinding speed to connect. Defense needs to get better but he definitely looks radio for a title bout.

                Yeah its called getting punched...

Green was passive and rarely let go. Pavlik was smothering him and landing hard shots.

Two of Darchinyan's last three fights were against mexicans...they both ended in stoppages.
