I thought Spinks won the fight also. Not 117-111 winning the fight but at least by a round or 2. I don't believe Spinks "ran" as much as some people are claiming; he has a weak chin, with no power and he's fighting a much bigger guy... what do you expect him to do? Sit there and trade shot-for-shot with Taylor? Spinks did the only thing he could do in that fight, while Taylor did jack ****. Ledderman and the HBO crew must be on crack with their comments tonight but it doesn't surprise me since they're probably giving Taylor a blow job right now.
HBO claimed that the "aggressor" deserves to win in fights like these. I don't deny that but Taylor was not any kind of aggressor- just because you land the harder shots doesn't mean you were the aggressor. Hell, his own trainer told him he wasn't doing ****. Taylor didn't try to cut the ring off or even just try to land some wild punches. Taylor could have KOed him if he wanted to but he didn't give a ****. He knew HBO had his back and as was the case in the Hopkins fights and the Wright fight, you are going to have to knock Taylor out in order to beat him; you won't win a decision against him.
I want someone to do me a favor. Ledderman scored the 10th round for Taylor. I want someone to rewatch the 10th round and tell me when Taylor landed ANY punch in order to win that round. Please, and give me the time it occured. They just need to tell boxers with no power that "it doesn't matter how often you hit him, if he hits you once hard per round, you're losing that round." At least they'll know from now on. Taylor won the 9th by landing 1 shot. I'm sorry but landing 1 shot and looking at a guy run around all night without doing any is just as bad as landing 10 shots and running.
Regardless, this fight ****** but penalize the guy that made it suck by not doing ANYTHING, don't ***** about the guy that did the only thing he could do in order to win.Comment

i laughed quite a few times at lampley and merchant's comments.i laughed when they said the guy had it 117-111 for spinks and then they said
' he should not score a fight again in his life"
they both helped me get over the fact that those 2 boxers are unwatchable and don't deserve a penny for "sparring" in a professional fight.
i almost can't get over how bad this was. the worst fight since byrd vs t.o.s.

i had stinks winning 8 rounds to 4. stinks did what he had to, taylor
for whatever reason was afraid to throw at stinks.
hbo and skysports dont know sh i t. they both gave stinks the last round!!! for fu c k sake!!! what fight were those mother fu ckers watchin!!!!!!!!!!!

I had it a draw. May 5th's judges wouldve given it to Spinks. Even though I scored it a draw I would give it to Taylor anyway.Comment
