i can't believe, well maybe i can, that jermain looked right into the camera and spoke about how he is where the money is at. he clearly doesn't give a **** about boxing fans.

merchant asked him again, if he will fight pavlik, after taylor danced around the question. to which taylor's response was - i will fight anybody. i will fight whoever gets me the most money. and to capitolize it by saying that he will fight somebody other than pavlik if there is more money.

he also said that the fight between pavlik and miranda was overrated.

i didn't hear all of pavlik's comments. but i did hear taylor speak like he is a soul-less prick.

we, the people, have to demand that fighters actually fight. otherwise, we get 2 guys who are afraid to hit eachother and are looking for a quick dollar instead of making an entertaining fight. this is exactly why i don't buy most ppvs.

and especially why i didn't buy mayweather vs de la hoya's ppv. **** 'em.

I lost alot of respect for Taylor tonight, his people chose the opponent knowing he was a runner, and Taylor refuse to go after him. His post-fight interview was ridiculous (and I used to be a Taylor fan). I think he will do everything he can to avoid Pavlik, but if he vacates to avoid the match, then he should no longer be considered the "Champion" of the Middleweight division.
