Hey, I wasn't a Pavlik fan before tonight, because I thought he may have been one of those overprotected fighters whose record doesn't reflect their skill. I had seen Miranda fight several times though, and I was shocked watching what happened tonight. I know Miranda was technically limited, but he still had beaten Eastman, Abraham (despite the judge's ruling), and Green. Watching someone come right at him and put the beating on him that Pavlik did, and even more impressive to me, absorbing Miranda's bombs (although I think he was hurt a couple of times) he's made me a believer in Pavlik too.

Hey, if Allen Green had been able to pull of this performance, I would have been equally impressed. Everyone (myself included) wanted to see Taylor-Miranda...why should everyone not be as excited to see Taylor-Pavlik now?

Winky asked for more money than he was offered. Are you telling me that Taylor made more money fighting Ouma and Winky made more fighting Quartey than they would have made fighting each other? I don't think that’s the case unless HBO is seriously ****ed up.

If Winky was the one playing it safe by avoiding Taylor then Taylor still could have made more by fighting Calzaghe or Miranda than by fighting spinks.

i DONT think winky was avoiding taylor as much as he felt he won the first fight (which i think he did ) and wanted 50/50 parity. Thats on wright, and nobody else, even if i feel hes a bit justified asking for it.

yeah taylor has dropped the ball but calzaghe is a p4p fighter palvik is not and is the bigger man too... taylor fighting REAL competion is what is needed. who is the bigger challenge/threat palvik or calzaghe ???
