His powers over-rated though, since he landed some clean shots that didn't hurt Spinks that much. This is an opponent Taylor should have been able to ko!!!

the way i see it goes as follows after tonight (as far as middleweights go):

winky > calzaghe > abraham > pavlik > miranda > taylor

with my only close calls being abraham and pavlik... i'd love to see those two fight

i think Pavlik would also have a chance with Calzaghe

MONEY will dictate who fights who next

If Taylor fights Calzaghe, I do not want to see Pav and Kessler fight eachother since what happens if they ruin eachother and for what? the #1 spot at the title, which both already have in their own divisions, and for little money (compared to what they could make in the future)


If Taylor fights Joe, he gives up his title and the same for Joe.

Not that it matters since Titles mean little these days

I always have mixed feeling about this:
Money is very important, especially if you are fighting for low money and great risk.

Taylor could possibly make a lot of money vs. Joe, and Joe is bigger for your legacy than Pav.

Pav deserves a title shot next, with or without Taylor. In this case, Taylor would have to get rid of a belt or all his belts if he fights Joe next.

I would prefer boxing force Taylor to give up all his titles if he moves up instead of fighting Pav next.

But like I said before, titles really do not mean much, after all they are only belts...Legacy and Money are more important, both of which are greater for Taylor in a Joe Calzaghe fight.

I dont think anyone who has gotten in the ring with Wright and Hopkins is somehow scared of anyone to be honest, i think he like anyone else in his position (the top) is trying to make the most money out of a sport where big fights dont exactly come that often. I dont think you can say hes a wimp, infact, i cant call anyone who could kick my ass a wimp frankly.
