I honestly like Vic and think he is much more class than Arce. However outside of Glendale and North Hollywood where in the US can he sell tickets? ****ty way to put it but I know what he meant.

      well..

his last fight was right here in LA area, at the Home Depot Center.

The one before that was at Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Alot of Armenians from LA travel to Vegas for VIC and VANES fights, and there are plenty of local Vegas Armenians too.

If he would promote right and market to them, an easy 5,000 or more Armenians would come out to support VIC (our first World Champ, and only 1 of 2 - other being Abraham in Germany).

but again, Shaw doesnt care, and i feel for VIC, because he is now 31 and if he doesnt make some money now, he never will.

It happened at his last fight or so sources say. Z-Ro, an underground rap artist signed to Houston Texas' Rap-A-Lot Records, showed up at the last Shane Mosley fight. Appearantly, Mosley's son asked Z-Ro for an autograph, in which he did. However, Shane noticed the violent song lyrics on the poster and asked the rapper, if he understood that his son was too young to get such an explicit poster. Z-Ro reportedly replied, "I don't give a f***."

The two got into an argument, and in turn the rappers' entourage jumped in and Shanes' management crew jumped in. The boxing team was outnumbered and Shane Mosley was brutally punched in the eye by Trae (fellow rapper) and then punched multiple times by Z-Ro. Other Houston rap artists, such as Aztek and Bun B, were allegedly with the group of rappers. Witnesses say that a man with a firearm was seen outside moments before the dispute erupted. However, investigators have yet to determine who had a firearm. Evidence is still being looked over. When questioned by authorities Mosley said "I don't know why he hit me, there was no reason for any of this to take place. I don't even know them."

Charges are currently being pressed against Rap-A-Lot Records and police are still investigating.

Good to see so much Armenian support. I wasn't trying to disrespect him I was curious.

The fact that he laid the blame of the awful matchmaking decision on Corrales and his trainer was ridiculous. There is no way Shaw should have allowed Diego to get into the ring with quite possibly one of the 2-3 best Welterweights in the world without ever fighting at 140 or 147.
seriously. that was the one time I picked against Corrales. it was so obvious based on the performance Clottey put on against Margarito that Diego was going to get hit a lot that night. terrible choice of opponent.

Don King isn't the worst promoter after all? I always thought Don King was the most likely to cheat and steal money from his fighters but it sounds like Shaw has him beat.

gary shaw is a creep period. i was told of some shady **** that he did when it came to sticking his fighters with bills and **** before, but this is bad right here.
i'm glad Jin is exposing this creep, plus shaw seems like a pervert, i remember someone having a pic with Manny Pacquiao sitting on his lap with shaws hand on his knee, what a ****ing sicko. not to mention i always remember when chico or any of his other fighters were tired or drained he would always want them to lean on him and he would drag them around, which i thought was weird. shaw has always rubbed me the wrong way, i wouldn't be surprised if his computer was filled with a bunch of child ****...................
