    Sulaiman Pushes For Pacquiao-Marquez Rematch

WBC president Jose Sulaiman is pushing for a title fight between Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao and reigning WBC super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez who won the title from legendary Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera. Pacquiao and Marquez fought to a controversial draw in a furious battle for Marquez's WBC and IBF featherweight title in April 2004 in Las Vegas in which Pacquiao decked the Mexican three times in the first round but couldn't put him away. Jose Sulaiman doing something useful????
Excuse me while I recover from the shock.

Best fight out there for both guys & biggest draw for both.
Yes, Pacquaio can sell out a stadium fighting Taxi drivers, but a rematch with Marquez would be massive.

This is the fight that needs to happen but it's sad that it's not going to happen. I still ask myself why the hell did Paquiao sign with Top rank?

Its all about MONEY. If you are a pro boxer and your leaning toward Golden Boy but when Top Rank offers you more money, then u might change your mind.

As far as Pac vs JMM 2, the question now is will Pac agree to a lower purse bid after tasting million of dollars pay. Even if Pac faces a patsy in his next fight, he will probably earn more than a purse bid rematch with JMM.
