    What Makes Pacman #2 P4P?

and alot of people have him at #1. Look, Im a big fan of Pacman and I guess you could move him up if you consider Hopkins to be retired but I think that Floyd is clearly #1 while Winky & Hopkins are 2 & 3. What have they done to fall down behind Pac?

Then, I always look at P4P as legit fights. I think you can look at fighters styles & personality and tell who would win a fight if they were the same size and there is no way you can convince me that Pac would beat Floyd, Hopkins, or Winky. Look at how those 3 guys fight and there demenors. No way Pac would beat those guys.

Dont get me wrong, Pac is a beast and deserves to be ranked very high. As a fighter he has the talent to be ranked even #1 but the problem is that there's 3 guys who are even more talented then him. How can people drop Winky under him for a draw in a fight that alot of people thought he won, yet Pac stays up after his draw to JMM? How can Hopkins slip down after those 2 close decisions that alot of people think he won when Pac got destroyed by EM but stayed high? Then Hopkins kills Tarver at 175 when Tarver was ranked in the top 3.

I love Pac, EM, MAB, & JMM, but I use to make threads all the time asking why they can lose fights to eachother and still stay in the top 3 while when it happends to other fighters then they drop? I dont get it. I use to be a huge JMM fan but you guys cant tell me that all of those guys besides Pac arent slipping. I wasnt that impressed with the MAB-JMM fight as others. There is no way that those guys look better then the top 3 I named. I also never understood why Pac gets so much credit for killing guys like EM when its clear that they were already done. If EM gets routed by Raheem then he is a finished fighter. No way Pac should get a ton of credit for those wins when EM just got destroyed by a average guy like Raheem. I could see if EM lost to a bigger better guy but Raheem? No way should those EM wins boost Pac so high.

Again, the bottom line to me is who would win in a fight? No way Pac's style can beat those other guys. Pac has a crazy demenor in the ring and it has a effect on the smaller guys but look at how Winky, Floyd, & X act. Look at how smart they are in the ring. No way a guy like Pac would intimidate them or worry them at all. BTW, did anyone catch Hopkins & Winky on First take the other day? I wish I recorded it. That was some of the best trash talking ever. I love listening to Winky. Dude gets you so hyped. He's so confident without being over the top but you believe everything he says

answer me this. do you think either mab/em/jmm have a chance against winky or hopkins if they were the same size? if you said yes or maybe, then you just answered your thread.

morales, barrera and marquez were the class of the lower weights. when other fighters stepped up to those guys they lost straight up. pacquiao has fared well against all of them, even though he lost the first morales fight. i don't care how you slice it....pacquiao only has one loss since 2000, he has the wins over barrera, morales, and an arguable win over marquez. he also has beaten several other undefeated fighters and ex-champs in that time.

one of the biggest things though is his progression as a fighter. he has come a long way in changing his internal make-up so that he is a multi-faceted fighter in the ring. the in-ring ability he exhibits stacks up with any of the guys who are ranked up in the top 5. this guy deserves some respect and i don't think that ranking him #2 or #3 is out of line at all.

The versions of MAB and Morales that Pac fought would have no chance against Winky. It would be total domination. JMM could have a chance against Winky, but Pac didn't beat him so why bring him up?

so you're giving jmm a chance against winky and not pac? now you're being biased. they fought to a draw remember. and mab was in his prime when he fought pac. odds makers never really gave pac a chance to beat mab because mab at that time was a lb4lber. but guess what, after his brutal loss to pac, he stringed up 6 consecutive wins and was in the top5 lb4lb again. washed up eh?

you could make a case against EM, but still the way pac revenged his loss was totally dominating, that not even a prime mab could do.

I give JMM a chance against Winky, but I would still favor Winky P4P. I think JMM would beat Pacquiao if they rematched. JMM dominated most of the rounds in the first fight. If JMM didn't get caught in the first round, he would have won a lopsided decision. He is clearly a better fighter than Pacquiao...

I can't give Pac credit for beating Morales considering how bad Erik was dominated by Raheem...

you're still in history mode, the pac that drawed jmm back then is alot different now, unless you disagree to what most critics would say. and jmm is the same. you're full of whatifs, here's one - if one judge scored it correctly, pac would have won and we wouldn't even be talking about this.

erik wasn't dominated by raheem the way pac dominated him. it's one of those style makes fights. pac brutally dominated EM while raheem boxed his way to a win.

and how come you stopped talkin about mab?

Let me give you something else to cry about, the RIng Magazine droped Winky to #5. Floyd at #1, PAC#2, Rafael Marquez #3 and Juan manuel at #4. How you like them apples?
