    Glen Johnson is a machine........

Did anyone watch the fights last night? They were pretty good with a decent undercard. For his age Glen style has not slowed down. His relentless attacks are unbeleivalble. Griffin tried his best but Glen wouldn't back off.

Joel Julio seems to be improving too, although he hasn't fought a decent boxer since Quintana

Yep, Johnson is a good example of what a guy can do if he refuses to give in to aging. His skill, ring-smarts, and work ethic are amazing, and could continue to win fights for him for at least a few more years, if he doesn't choose to retire.

Glen Johnson looked good. His relentless attack wore down Griffen and eventually led to the stoppage. He is still one of the top five LWH's in the world. I wouldn't mind seeing him against Tarver, Dawson or B-Hop.

Joel did what he had to do, but I think it's time for him to face a good boxer again to see if he's learned anything from the Quintana fight. I thought Joe Green looked and he landed some good shots against Spearman, but he wouldn't stay down for the count. Green is kind of short and a tall good boxer could give him some trouble, but for the most part he looked like a good prospect.

Yeah, Green will have problems with a taller fighter who uses his jab. Spearman was giving him a little problem when he did throw it

I always expect Johnson to get old in a fight and it never happens, he's a beast.

I went to the fight and indeed Johnson is a beast, always has been and always will be. He is an example of a fighter who goes into a fight and gives 100% every time he enters the ring. I love the guy, and his entire camp/management too, they are all great people, and Johnsons' wife is a sweetheart as well. I spent alot of last night's fight talking to Johnsons' management, both Mr and Mrs Foster are great people as well, and even invited me to join the Johnson family at their house (Fosters') for dinner next week, after I get back from working the Taylor vs Spinks card this weekend.
            How cool is that?!

BTW - I spent some time chatting with "Asian Sensation" at the fight, cool kid. He was all over the place, talking to everyone, I saw him chatting with Oliver Mcall, Mickey Ward, among others and the kid was big pimpin with not one, not two, but three women with him! I have to give him props, he's got some game, he had the girls sitting in the stands, while he buzzed around ringside with his "Boxingscene.com" Ringside Credentials.
I saw them waiving to him and blowing kisses - too bad I had made plans to join Christy Martin and friends after the show, or I would have shown the kid how an old dog does it....

Yeah man I watched all of the fights.....very good card for a Wednesday night.Johnson is something else he just keeps coming and coming and was using his jab really well last night. It appeared the fight was heading for a stoppage when Griffins corner threw in the towel anyway so I was not upset it ended.

Nice win for Glen. I'm happy that he is still fighting at a high level this late in his career. A true blue-collar fighter.

It was a very good win for Johnson.I don't really see any point in a fourth fight with Clinton Woods.I would prefer to see him against Chad Dawson.A fight with Dawson would show us if Dawson is the real deal and how much Johnson still has.
