Hopefully a few more people tune in for that fight, and maybe Taylor will catch Spinks and give us two knockouts in one night. That'd be good for boxing, but enough of this "saving" business.
    Your on point my friend!

Both Miranda vs. Pavlik are more entertaining boxers to watch than PBF and DLH. I'm personally MUCH more interested in this fight.

If the media really wanted to "save boxing" they would pay more attention to someone who is exciting and able to create public interest, namely Edison Miranda, instead of a boring boxer like PBF.

The regular sports fan who gets to see boxing once in a blue moon will love this fight more too!

I have a friend at work who's last three fights he has seen (all at my house) are Hopkins vs. Oscar, Winky vs. Tito and Oscar vs. Floyd.

I plead with him to get HBO, this guy is not alone you know how many ans decide too watch a few of the overhyped matchups...get ****ed and then throw in the towel.

Mirand v. Pavlik will not be a fight where you throw in the towel-it will be a fight that leaves you saying...1) who are they gonna fight next and when and 2) is there any other good clset matchups like this you fill me in on.

Corey is a big time fader, he faded in both Judah fights and he faded againt Karmazin...he will fade against Taylor and be KO'd.

"Save" is in quotes for a reason. I don't think, and stated in this weeks column, that boxing needs no saving. What boxing does need is recognition of an exceptional talent pool beyond the name over-30 crowd of stars we have today. As a writer, I think its my job to be an advocate of boxing's positives where possible and was aiming for that this week.

And EZ...I don't know what I ever did to you, but someone has to hate work for the universe to have balance if there are those that enjoy.

I did my best to hype the hell out of the whole division. It hasn't been this loaded since 91-94.
