Everytime there is an article that mentions this fight, they always describe the decision as controversial. So, what if the tables were turned? would the decision still be viewed as a controversial one?
Probably....unless you condsider the fact that anywhere else on gods green earth the fight would have been stopped as soon as the ref asked abraham if he wanted to continue and he said no.....that should have been end of story.
THe funny thing is the guy has yet to see the fight!!!!
Miranda won the fight, so why would there be any controversy???
I know. I'm just trying to prove a point, and he didint see the fight? what kind of dude who has a certain boxer's picture all big as **** in his signature, but does not watch his most defining victory, yet is so passionate about the certain boxer? seems kinda flaw to me?
It doesnt even matter now because look whos getting all the attention in the division, and getting the bigger money fights. Miranda is going to be on HBO for the third time since, and if he wins will probably headline a PPV with Taylor.
He really was the winner in the long run.
betta not be a ppv no way i don't think miranda name is that big... maybe if he make palivik look like **** then just just maybe.... HBO will judge by the number of people who turn in to see jt and crew

The reason the fight is considered controversial is because Abraham should have been stopped in round 5.
With the point deductions and scoring round by round, it was Abraham's fight.
It wouldn't be controversial b/c he should have gotten the nod anyways.
and yeah it prolly did help him in the long run with HBO
He didnt deserve the decision, he lost on points.
Didnt Abraham say he didnt want to continue after a illegal headbutt, so he would win the fight by DQ?
When Abraham realized the ruling would be a TD or TKO for Abraham, he decided to fight, and outpointed Miranda the remaining rounds.
its really ****** to call that a controversial decision....what was controversial was th whole point deduction and 5th round problems...and with that, there was no way miranda could win...
Losers are always the fighters who talk about would have, could have, should have. Abraham won the fight despite Miranda's dirty tactics, get over it. yes it would have been a robbery if Miranda got the decision.
Biased as hell sucking on my favorite fighter Miranda. Abrahams put up a great fight, don't diss him.
