Boxings death toll is faaaar greater.

Mostly due to shady commisions in foreign countries.

But thinner gloves is actually safer in the long term, believe it or not

You know Im just waiting for someone to be killed in mma because of the slam.Anyone see the slam from randlemen and fedor. A lot of these slams could break their opponent's neck, and im just surprised it hasn't happened yet.

It may have tighter restrictions imposed but it won't go away......Hell boxing has deaths they don't.It's the accumilation of punches over several rounds that kills....not one devastating blow usually.

Yeah. There's going to be a lot of resistance first. I don't blame them. They've got 1,001 things they do and sometimes you can't catch up with things. So you're going to still have a lot of people thinking it's still the SEG days no matter how it's changed. It's going to take a bit of patience and education to get people on the same page.

I do fear a fatality though. It won't be from the established promotions. It'll be from a back alley scumbag whose only in it all for himself. That's why even if bills don't go through, the promotions should work close with the commissions to make sure these upstarts don't profit off the blood of others.

yeah hockey also. MMA will never be banned, people have been dying in boxing for over a hundred years and it doesn't stop people from fighting or the fans from wanting to see a fight

the problem with mma is that it doesnt have a rich history so when 1 person dies in an MMA fight it will be banned. its kinda hypocritical since boxing so many fighters die.

I think boxing would be safer if they used smaller gloves 6 oz gloves instead of 10-12 oz gloves.

you would get more knockouts and less brain rattling trauma that big padded gloves cause to the brain. but alot of broken bones.
