Is The Chad ready for Jermain Taylor???

I think their boxing ability is about even... JT may have more pop but i think that Chad Dawson may be a little more fundamentally sound. They have to be close to the same size and they're close in age and experience. I think JT-Spinks will be an interesting fight but i'd rather see this one.

Chad Dawson fights Light Heavyweights. Taylor fights Junior Middleweights, albeit at Middleweight. I don't think they are even on each others radar at this point.

This is what I was thinking. Taylor is a monsterous middle...broad backed, big frame. Dawson is a solid light heavyweight in my opinion as he has finally filled out, but he was fighting as a super middle not too long ago. I think that they could meet at a catch weight. I'd take Dawson. Chad is a southpaw, he's lengthy, he has very fast hands, and he is quite polished for a young guy.

We'll see how Chad does with this next test. The guy he's making this defense against has been in with some solid opponents.

Not the conqueror of souls like Tyson or anything, but he has been in with Griffin and Briggs.
