I give Chuck props for not juicing like Couture. He has a natural build.

That stuff on the morning show was almost as bad as Tyson's sthpinal interview after Etienne.

You don't just pop up at a morning show ****ed up on Lunesta and Nyquil. That's a load of **** right there...One thing you could predict though is how alot of fighters resort to their natural instinctual bread and butter, what they're most trained in, and throw their fight plan out the window, when they get buzzed. They'll throw out their fight plan and go with what they are adept in. Chuck, being adept at striking, means he'll stand and trade.
Chuck's base is wrestling. He's just really good at counter striking with kickboxing and kempo. If someone can deal with the strikes, that's cool. They still have to deal with his wrestling and BJJ.

So again, I ask. Why would anyone want to trade with Morrison?

Again, (sigh) I tell you (third time now) if he gets stuck there's a good chance he will stand and trade. Are you saying that as long as Chuck Liddell has been on the world level he's trained more in wrestling? Apparently he's adept at striking and not ground fighting. Maybe he has a base in wrestling, but does it really matter unless it's been the focal point of his training? Which brings me to my original point, if he's been training mostly in striking, that's what he's BEST at. Now, I know there's cases of a disciplined fighter who absorbs a few blows and sticks to their plan, but I don't see Chuck as one of these. I think he will come unglued after Tommy lands something nice.

Randleman, yes, is a juicer. I'll give you Shammy when he was pro wrestling in America...but you are going to sit there...and accuse Ortiz and Couture of juicing when documentation from not only NSAC, but also CSAC proves otherwise.

              Interesting

are you talking about documentation saying he passed all his piss tests?
cuz anyone with a brain capable of planning can plan around tests. how the hell do you think tyson and golata got by when they were at their best. steroids. they were tested out the ass and eventually got caught but there are guys who juice and haven't been caught. Look at Tye Fields, it's completely obvious he juices, and he's been tested a ton, no positive results.

Fighters don't train in one area. They train in all areas. It would be silly to just train for one area. If Liddell was to fight Morrison, he would work a bit more on his grappling and submissions, but still will be practicing in everything. Striking is just one facet of his gameplan. Sure he likes to strike, but if he does get taken down or taste some yummy strikes, he's not going to try to match the guy in grappling or striking. He's going the opposite direction.

If morrison does tag him a bit, his first move isn't going to be "I'm going to match him blow by blow", it's "I'm taking this guy down, make his face oatmeal and if that doesn't work, I'm taking an arm home."

The fact that both of us think we can assume what a fighter will think, and are arguing over it, is so silly.

a fighter that isn't level headed, at that.

No way does Randy juice. Just look at his weight from when he started to now, he has actually lost weight. Thats why he looks ripped, its not so much that he gained muscle, its that he cut fat.
