Edison 'Pantera' Miranda weighed in at 166.5 lbs on Saturday for his 7 day mandatory weigh in. The required weight by the WBC is 168 lbs or less. The weigh in was overseen by a WBC official in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Miranda will fight Kelly Pavlik on May 19th at the FedExForum in Memphis, TN. The winner becomes the mandatory challenger for Jermain Taylor. The bout will be televised live on HBO's World Championship Boxing and will be the co-feature to Taylor's defense against Cory Spinks.
