What Future Fight Are You Most Looking Forward To?

I'm looking forward to all those fights except for two- the Taylor fight and the Holyfield fight. I'm not on Evander's senior citizen boxing bandwagon. I respect him for his past accomplishments but I think he has proven it is time to hang it up. He gets no points from me for fighting after his expiration date. No need for it. He should just walk away from the sport.
As far as the Taylor fight goes- I'm not alone in being fed up of Jermain taking Hopkin's crown and using it to beat up little guys. Anyone else feel like he's being a schoolyard bullying by targeting smaller men? He's the 160 lb champion- act like!
That leads into my most anticipated fight on the list. I think the Cotto-Judah fight will be very good, and I can't wait to see Wright and Hopkins get it in on, if just to see the two men together in the ring, but my interest is one the Pavlik-Miranda encounter.
The middlweight division is an exciting one when it's full of good fighters. These are men that are faster than the big, big dogs but large enough to end the night with one solid punch (depending on the fighter). I feel that either Kelly Pavlik or Edison Miranda will finally give Jermain a chance to prove he can handle legitimate middleweight challangers. That excitement, and what a Taylor-Miranda or Taylor-Pavlik fight would spell for the division, has me curious. It could really change the landscape at 160.Comment

Wlad vs. Brewster 2
As a Wlad fan, I can hardly wait for Brewster vs. W. Klitschko II on July 7. Others I'm looking forward to are Pavlik vs. Miranda, Briggs vs. Ibragimov, Hatton vs. Castillo, and Cotto vs. Judah.
Two interesting fights not yet scheduled are Povetkin vs. Barrett (June) and Maskaev vs. Peter (July or August).
Lots of great matchups in the next couple of months!Last edited by Steelhammer86; 05-14-2007, 10:11 AM.Comment
