Sultan should outbox him, but Briggs always has a punchers chance. Right now Im leaning towards a 8th round TKO for Sultan.

If Ibragimov moves well and will be able to close the distance without getting tagged like Liakhovich did, the ref will eventually stop the fight because Briggs will be to exhausted to continue. I give Briggs a very good punchers chance though. It's a 50/50 fight although I hope Ibragimov wins this one.

I am no fan of EITHER fighter...

But I predict a Briggs KO I have onnly seen 2 Ibragimov fight twice(Austin.Mora) And I have not seen anything to get me excited..

If Austin can Floor Him . then Briggs will Knock his ass out..

I could be wrong..It does happen from time to time

I don't like steroid-using Briggs, I'm hoping he loses and he sucks and if he beats sultan then it just proves sultan sucks.

I think Ibragimov hits hard enough and has enough skill and aggression to defeat Briggs by KO or TKO. Lyakhovich's punches didn't seem strong enough to seriously hurt Briggs, but Sultan hits somewhat harder.

I'm picking Briggs for the shear fact, that he's the much bigger fighter and poseses that "one punch" KO power as evidenced by his 44 KO's on his record.
After his last fight, Briggs is gotta know that stamina will be an issue if the fight goes 7-12 rounds, so he'll go in there and try to end this one early. I'm prediciting an early round TKO by Briggs..

Most of Briggs KO's have come against club fighters, the only top 50 boxer he ever KOed was Lyakhovich (source: IBO website's boxing statistics). No one in the sport of boxing has a more padded record than Shannon Briggs.

Briggs was even beaten by Sedrick Fields, who's role in the sport has often been a confidence-building opponent for fighters who have lost their previous bout. Felix Savon KOed Briggs rather easily in the 1996 Olympics and Jameel McCline beat him as a pro.

Sultan is not as devastating a fighter at heavyweight as Wlad, because he's simply too small (he probably should be fighting at cruiserweight, he won his Silver Medal in the 2000 Olympics in a lower weight class). I think he's strong enough to KO Briggs, however.

first 5 rounds briggs is very impressive with accurate powerful counter punches. hes actually very fast with those punches considering his size. if he stays to counter-punching he will catch sultan early.
