Turpin has a questionalbe by some people not me win over an against an aging SRR who stopped him in the rematch. A good win of British Heavyweight Champ Don ****ell and that is the majority of his resume. Have you seen Turpin fight and do you know the details of his death? Chico has the better resume imo OPINION. If you think Benny Leonard was a better Lightweight Champ than Duran or something I would take it as your opinion and not think say you don't know boxing. I am not that dense I was comparing Duran against Benny Leonard as an example of a disagreement ,stop reaching.

7/10 of the forum would give Bruce Lee a chance in a comeback fight vs Paciauo, too; so just because the majority of a large amount of people choose something, doesn't mean it's the right choice. I have no issues with any of the fighters out of the ring. I look at what they do inside the ring, that's what counts for hall of fame induction. I could care less that Turpin abused his woman, shot himself, or went in debt. Out of your mouth is the first I've heard of him wanting to take his kid's life, then again the only book I've ever read about him is 'The Tragedy of Randolph Turpin' by Peter Birkely.

And I'd love to debate his win over Sugar Ray Robinson with someone who thinks it was questionable. Here's round 14 and 15, after Robinson was hurt on four separate occasions. He ate a flush left hook from Robinson in round 3,Robinson was regarded as a puncher from another planet for his weight, it staggers turpin but he comes right back landing shots upstairs and finishing with a left hook that buckled the knees of robinson.
