I know he timed it perfectly and hit him with it while DLH was throwing a punch himself. It was his second power shot in about 2 seconds with the first one hitting DLH on the temple. DLH's over exuberance on the ropes and PBF's excellent timing made it a perfect shot.

PBF doesn't have real power at that weight. Can you imagine what would've happend if almost any other natural jrMW or even natural WW would've landed that punch?

PBF is an excellent fighter but his power is dispitating as he goes up. He wasn't even able hurt Gatti badly while hitting him with almost anything he threw. No offence to Gatti but he has been hurt by a lot of people. With all those punches PBF wasn't able to get a real KD on Gatti.

Floyd never got hurt because he never committed to throwing multiple punches where he would leave himself open. Floyd is afraid to take chances. Oscar never landed his left hook solid. The hook that Oscar caught Vargas with in 2002 would have put Floyd out cold.

        It's called COUNTER PUNCHING..
A counter punch is the HARDEST punch in Boxing.. A lead Jab Thrown by a hard puncher will be equaled by a light hitting counter jab in over all power..
Its down the lead fighers FORWARD MOTION and Balance as well the accuracy and timing of the counter punch..
Which is Why Pendalosa was Turning Ponce De Leon around 180 degrees with a few of those shots..
Which is why Floyd was EVER so SLIGHTLY able to Stun Oscar.. Perfectly timed counter punches..And the Good thing is You can be feather fisted and still KO people ..If you are a good Counter Puncher..

That's a ****** analysis, that called boxing ******...Hit and don't get hit...and the reason I call you ****** because you actually tried to compare de la hoya and mayweather to de la hoya and vargas. Vargas couldn't dodge a bus if it was wearing a pair of boxing trunks...

Thats what I was trying to say. Instead of disparaging PBF I think the lack of power is a testament to his skill. I have a tremendous respect for PBF's talent, skill and physical discpline but I think he is in too high.

For me its kinda like James Toney fights. Everyone see's that Toney has the skill and ability to land crisp, clean punches against HW fighters but he isn'tt able to really do more than stun his opponents.

Come back here when you actually watch the fight. A welterweight with no power clearly hurt a jr. middleweight on May 5th...
