We don't know that for sure, but Katsidis does punch like a welterweight. Guzman better hurry up if he wants to make a name for himself he's already 31.

I had a bad feeling for Guzman in this fight too. Not too well known undefeated KO artist and him moving up a weight class. I wanted to see it though. I don't think Guzman would get cold feet but Katsidis does seem very dangerous. How'd Sr. let that happen? Sucks.

Maybe it was Snr's Idea to call it off. Just a thought. He might be protecting his meal ticket, If Guzman lost he wouldn't be as marketable, less cash for Snr. As I said it's just an idea. But he could be injured.

He has had hand problems before.. I saw him a week ago @ The Meadows Mall here and Las Vegas and was looking great though. I do believe he is injured though because Guzman isn't one to back down from a fight like that. He is too hungry for that **** and is a warrior

              Don't buy Guzman faking out.
Sure Katsidas is dangerous, but he's still very raw, & I favoured Guzman by a pretty wide margin in an exciting fight.
Guzman's people are the ones who made the bout as well, from what I recall.

Katsidas should use this is a chance to get some solid rounds in the bank against solid opposition - get some experience under his belt before chasing the bigger names.

katsidis just wants a big break. he's had so many setbacks in his career he just wants to get in there with a name and rip in. he's a fighter through and through. ill be interested to see if guzman's camp provides n e evidence.

He should fight Diaz. Doesn't Diaz have a WBO belt that Freitas didn't feel like keeping.

It might be mandatory. Hope so. They both come forward.
