Hatton has been in the Welterweight division once where he nearly got stopped by Collazo, now we all know Judah is 20 times better than Collazo.

Then again Baldomir won against Judah and Gatti...the only concern is Hatton suffered at Welterweight, and Zab has previously dominated in that division. We all know knocking Spinks out is'nt very easy.

    Judah wins this fight.

Most people would agree he was out on his feet in round 12, no question.
His stamina and legs had completely went due to only having a few weeks to get used to 147 and Collazo was beating him to the punch at which point Hatton put his arms up and Collazo continued to land punch after punch on him.

Yes he staggered a bit but this was due to his legs going and in no way was an indication of him being seriously hurt.

I don't care if you have a chin like Marvin Hagler, if you are severely weight drained or aren't settled at a weight, then your legs can go and you can be staggered.

Hatton was caught flush plenty of times by people at 140 ( Including Tysyu ) and never came close to being seriously hurt.

If a top notch Hatton came in against Judah then your prediction of Judah by "stone cold" knockout would in my opinion be extremely wide of the mark.

You yanks just dont like the FACT we brits have No 1 and 2 at Light Welter

        and Cruiser
        and SM

        kermits!!!!
No, us yanks don't like the fact that your fighter beat an old, injured, semi-retired fighter to win the championship, then refused to fight anyone who had a realistic chance to beat him.

On the one hand Judah's strengths (hard hitting speedy southpaw who boxes well) play to Hatton's weaknesses (open to the Southpaw right hook, tends to be hit too much). On the other hand Judah's weaknesses (tends to lose concentration, fades late, doesn't like being hit, falls apart if pressured) play to Hatton's strengths (all heart, relentless pressure, very good stamina, throws lots of hard punches). I would say Hatton wins this as long as he can weather the early storm.

Okay, learn to take things with a pinch of salt, no Judah probably wont be arressted for attempted murder if he fights hatton, but tactically Hatton is at a huge disadvantage.

First of all Hatton was alot more than 'Staggered' and if anyone has a link to video i will post up the last round which proves that.

Second ricky hatton has serious problems with basic defense, its the reason i tend to pick against him in these kind of fights, Juan Urango took rickys body shots, and hurt him with his own body shots, he also hit him with several flush right hands.

Judah is super quick, so quick even mayweather didnt wanna chance it on the outside with him, i dont see Hatton seeing Judah's shots coming, and Judah can knockout people out any day of the week, he has such serious power, if hatton cant block urango's punches, how does he block judah's?

Im sorry, how is Hatton severley weight drained at 147?

That makes no sense when he says his best weight is 140, wouldnt he be even more weight drained trying to make the lower weight?

If he is weight drained at 147, surely he should be moving up, not down.

Hatton talks, but alot of it is pure crap, one minute he is feeling as powerful as ever at 147, he gets hurt, next minute 147 isnt the weight for him, the same way he says he wants witter than says he will never fight him.

Why is a guy who weighs up to 180 pounds outside the ring boiling down to 140?

              Kosta never hurt Hatton?

So why did hatton say the following in the post fight interview after he beat kosta?

              (Nearly the exact quote)

" He hurt me, he hurt me real bad".

Hatton started the twelth round against Collazo very strongly, got caught with a couple of flush punches towards the middle of the round, and rallied towards the end of the round. Collazo got in the last hard punch otherwise it wouldn't have been exactly clear who won that round. Hatton wasn't "almost knocked out". For a start he wasn't knocked down. He didn't look weak in the legs. He had the sense to clinch. He was still sensible at the end of the fight.

It isn't reasonable to pretend that Hatton wasn't hurt, but for me one of his admirable traits is that despite being hurt he can still keep going and do what it takes to win. His heart makes him a champion, his other gifts just help.

i dont think judah would like being crowded, wrestled, body punched, and outworked. i say he struggles to find a rhythm and loses a decision.
