            Only the top 1% of boxers in UK actually earn a living from it.

            Earnie Smith will fight anyone anytime for £20 and a Mars Bar. At 10min notice.
            The average fighter will be lucky to get £500 a fight.

              Yeah, and a good example of that, Ross Minter only recently, say the last 6-10 months quit his job and turned full time pro. So, if he was getting regular national coverage, holding national and area titles etc and it still wasn't paying his rent, it does make you wonder what must keep the tomato cans going, lol.
