that i don't , i gotta be honoust , my dad like mma more then boxing just because of fedor and hes 41 . maybe because he used be a judoka just like my dad. i'm a member to this site since 2005 a lot longer then you , i'm a member since january 2006 of sherdog. i started with boxing since i was like 12. i was so pumped for the DLH - Hopkins fight , even tough it was supposed to be sturm up there !. but then i watched one MMA fight ! 1 fight that was wanderlei vs rampage jackson in mma ! and that won me over , i got another passion , wich was mma, i like them both equal . mma and boxing. why c'ant we all? why bash mma ? if you prefer boxing over mma ? ok? but no need to bash it !

You were pumped for the DLH/Hopkins fight? Man I could smell a dull fight in that one from a mile away. Those are the same lame casual fan fights. Oh and another thing, I've been a member of this site longer then what this account says since I was on another name before, and I'am a member of other boxing forums that I've been in way longer then this one.

Top Ten Reasons UFC Sucks

10) A stand-up comedian is their commentator
9) Aggressive Snuggling is not a sport
8 ) Drug Tests are non-existent. Juicers, hypes and crackheads are welcome
7) I don’t like to see men mount other men
6) Wrapping your legs around another guy’s waist – that’s a fighting move?
5) Tapping other guys is not manly
4) They run out of breath in 3 minutes
3) “Bum Fights” DVDs are comparable
2) Couture vs. Sylvia is their fight of the year. Hugfest anyone?
1) Diego Corrales fights --- they are head and shoulders above anything they got!

10) Rogan is also a 4 (or something) time national full contact martial arts champion. I've never seen a boxer take a kick in the face. Ask Floyd if he wants to battle Sherk and take a kick in the cranium.

9) Neither is aggressive hugging or running around the ring like a *****.

8) Funny, 'cause Melvin Guillard got busted for 'roids less than a month ago.

7) You are a ****phobe. I bet you got slapped on the ass by the quarterback in the locker room in high school. Were you a kicker?

6) The guard is a visually unappealing move, but its extremely legit in the sport of grappling (which falls under the "mixed" in "mixed martial arts")

5) Getting a guy to say "your hurting me so bad that I have to stop," isn't manly? And I suppose having your (or dad) trainer toss a towel in the ring or hop up on the apron to wave down the ref is?

4) Watch a heavyweight fight. They run out of breath walking to the ring.

3) There are bums in every sport. Ask anyone on these boards.

2) Its the fight of the year because we're in May. There are a few more months lurking out there, I bet..

1) Why? Just...because? I mean, thats an awesome reason. Watch GSP or Sherk. Those guys are just entertaining.

P.S. - I love MMA (who would have thought) and I love boxing. Neither sport should be comparatively ripped.

not because of the dullnes , but because of who is going to win , its ****ing DLH !! the man draw 2.5 million people to watch him. apperantly you are the one that only watches it for blood and violence ! oh and i enjoyed that fight.

Let me ask you guys something. Now the UFC can put on mega cards with a pile of great fighters for nearly nothing. But what happens when the UFC gets as big as boxing and their top stars stop taking million dollar checks and want to be paid multi-million dollar purses for fights? What happens to the sport then?

Also what seperates the UFC from boxing is that UFC is a brand and that is what they sell boxing is not so nobody knows who the hell is in charge or what is going...Take out UFC and you look at the other MMA companies and they are struggling..UFC built a great brand for themselves..Boxing doesnt have that...In fact if I do recall that is what Oscars original plan was to create a brand for boxing...But as always it never goes ahead and their are bigger dollars elsewhere.

UCF just isn't the same thing. Boxing has legends like Ali, Ray Leonard, Louis, Robinson, Hagler, Hearns to name a few. Plus I just rather see two guys fight with their fists instead of grappling and ****. The whole style of fighting just doesn't interest me...

Of course I watched the fight but it was nothing to get excited about, because it was a fight between a big guy vs. a little guy moving up in weight. It was a one-sided match from the time the contract was signed. I love watching skilled, and stylish boxing matches but DLH/Hopkins wasn't one of them.

I have to agree with HendrixLove, real boxing fans don't really give a **** about that fight, I had no interst in that fight until I watched the 24/7 which sold me the fight.

Free fights like Margarito/Willimas and Miranda/Pavlik are much more exciting in my opinion then the PBF/Delahoya fight.
