It should be all action, both fighters go for the kill. I think either Medina or Bautista would've had a great chance at beating Ponce. According to Bautista, his corner was telling him to back up after he was blitz by that punch in the 7th, againts his desire to retaliate and exchange with Medina. He said he was hurt more by the Espinoza flash KD in which he got up and attacked immediately after. Hope Baustista can handle or evade Ponce's power. If he can, its an easy victory for BautistaComment

I dont know why you guys say it would be easy for Bautista, it's not like he's some good boxer (sweet science) hes a straight foward fighter with some pop, if any Penalosca was a better technical boxer then boom boom. If boom boom comes to fight he might get K.O'd because he gets hit easy just like ponce if any the only thing that worry's me is that boom boom has better stamina.Comment

I don't think De Leon has to worry about stamina. Based on his total output of punches againts Penalosa, it seems he has plenty. Bautista is a offensive boxer puncher with a desire to mix it up specially when hurt. He has great balance and footwork which gets him into good positions to throw accurately. De Leon has to worry about Bautistas power as well. Medina seemed to have a very good beard and was as tough as expected from an Argentinian fighter. Gerry had De Leon backin up at the end of he fight. Bautista is a better boxer than De Leon hands down. I guess we'll see what Bautista is made of. What worries me most about Bautista is his readiness and maturity to take a puncher like De Leon. It will be a good fight. I don't think he is ready for the likes of Rafa or Vasquez though, he needs to ripen up a little. Bautista is still filling out at his young age.I dont know why you guys say it would be easy for Bautista, it's not like he's some good boxer (sweet science) hes a straight foward fighter with some pop, if any Penalosca was a better technical boxer then boom boom. I dunno, I think Rey is still too raw. Ponce could really give the kid a lot of trouble. Rey better bring a lot to the table or else he'll take that giant big LComment

He does, and he made de Leon look like a 5 year old upstart swinging wildly in the air and gloves.
As for Bautista, it'd be a lot different. If he can't learn to move his head and block punches with his gloves, it would be good night. He knows Ponce is a tremendous puncher. That is, for the first few rounds.Comment

Bautista needs to learn defense or he will get KO.
I am rooting for Bautista to win but his recent fight, even though he won, his defense, wasn't impressive.Comment
